Though Shyne was indeed scheduled to get out of prison yesterday, his reps told MTV News that the Brooklyn MC had instead been placed in the hands of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement "at an unspecified facility in Western New York State." Because god forbid we as a country harbor rappers who take charges for more famous rappers and do nine years in jail for their troubles. If deported, as USICE is apparently considering, Shyne would land in Belize, where he's from. On the plus side, he's royalty there. On the minus side? His prime minister father supposedly won't acknowledge his son, on account of the rapper being born out of wedlock. If any human deserves a time machine, it's Shyne.
