If you've complained about anything in your life recently that isn't homelessness, domestic abuse, paranormal activity, or, say, a potentially malignant lump, you should probably shut the fuck up, quietly thank your maker, and reread this excrutiating detail about the injuries sustained by Twin Stumps' bassist Mike Yaniro, the health-insurance-less victim of a terribly violent mugging in late October: "His right eye socket needs surgery as there is a bone protruding into it... so it needs to be repaired to restore his ability to move the eye." There really are no words, except those professing endless gratitude to the folks playing the once-tentative benefit show tomorrow night at Death By Audio, specifically Sightings, Pink Reasons, and White Suns. But an extra-huge thanks should be directed at Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, who's promised to join Brooklyn brainwash-noise duo York Factory Complaint as a special guest. "Get there early," bids Twin Stumps' frontman Alessandro Keegan on the event's official Facebook invite, "York Factory Complaint, with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge will be going on 2nd!" Just get there.
