"He's Gone," to be specific. This has been a live move for a little while now for them. Will it convert the people who save their well-they-can't-play-their-instruments-so-yeah-they're-not-very-good arguments? No. Even (especially) a cappella, no. Fans that we are, we might argue for the pastiched and palimpsested version of the girl group stuff this band does over this band doing an actual girl group cover--the actual thing, as usual, being maybe a bit more palatable in the original--but as a change of pace, it sure passes the time.
