AOL Is Walking Back This Whole "We're Gonna Interview All 2,000 Bands At SXSW" Thing Just As Fast As They Can

​So apparently this is a thing AOL said they would do, pay amateur writer types $50 a pop for interviews with every band prancing the streets of Austin right now, an undertaking both ridiculous and pretty much impossible, which is what the folks at AOL are now insisting they knew all along. (An editor's leaked mass-email of the "turn your shit in now" variety had already surfaced.) Pretty intense takedown over at businessinsider.com, which gets to use the phrase "scuttlebutt floating in the ether" and run a photo of St. Vincent, so, everybody wins? Some people? No one?
