Watch the Snowy, Civil War-Inspired Video for Titus Andronicus's "A More Perfect Union"

Lest you forget that Titus Andronicus's terrifically galvanizing The Monitor is nominally Civil War-themed, along comes the video to "A More Perfect Union" to remind you--band members past and present, dressed as flag-clad irregulars in a wintery Jersey landscape equal parts Gettysburg and my-first-marijuana-cigarette. Must have killed frontman Patrick Stickles to cut the song off right before one of the song's/record's more absurd guitar parts, but an extra four minutes might've been a lot to ask from all the extras backing them in this particular fight. For extra effect, pair this video with the verité trailer that circulated right before The Monitor came out. Both have kind of a similar feel, though only this clip has costumes. [Pitchfork]
