Tonight! Harvey Milk, Coalesce, Atlas Moth, Washed Out, and Datarock

Elusive sludge-rock forefathers Harvey Milk are back in town at Le Poisson Rouge tonight; with openers Coalesce and Atlas Moth, this Blackened Music Series event will uphold what our own Kory Grow defines as Harvey Milk's motto: "Not heavy enough, not dirty enough." These words might also apply to whatever backhanded, desperate attempts you will find necessary to break into Washed Out's sold-out show at the Mercury Lounge. For a more amicable evening, parade around in your silliest red hoodie at Highline Ballroom's Datarock show: There, you can jam to unforgiving Norwegian disco and, for once, stop surpressing your desire to wear gang-neutral colors.
