Meanwhile, Foreign Born, bolstered by African percussion and flitting guitars, smuggle their L.A.-sunshine-fed pop into the Mercury Lounge. Finally, Jenny Owen Youngs, the folk songstress with a candy-coated voice, chirps caustic lyrics and tosses around the F-bomb at Union Hall.
