Hold Steady Announce Two New York Shows, Which Take Place...This Saturday!

Taking a page out of the LCD Soundsystem last-minute show album promotion playbook, the Hold Steady will play not one but two just-announced shows this weekend in celebration of Record Store Day. The band will play first the Bowery Ballroom and then the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday; tickets for both shows go on sale Wednesday at 10am. Advances of Heaven Is Whenever may or may not have finally begun to circulate amongst the critical masses. Which is to say sometimes it really is fun to be sitting around New York when bands like LCD and the Hold Steady are getting ready to release a new album.
