Hey, look, 1979 ska nostalgia for 1967, repurposed as circa 2010 30-year-old reunion kitsch on a show that specializes in rummaging around in odd corners of the twenty/thirty-something musical brain and then plastering the results on national television! Also, as Jessica points out, you need to do some pretty funny math indeed to claim the Specials haven't played the United States in 30 years--tell that to those of us who saw them in the late '90s! (If your band has more than six people in it, you can't be particular about the whole original members thing, sorry.) But anyway! Another coup for this guy.
