Tonight! Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Holiday Shores, Japandroids, Best Coast, Golden Girls, Soft Pack, Calvin Harris, And The Walkmen

After a bold display of self-sexing irony (he recently covered a Hot Chip song and renamed it "I Feel Bonnie"), woodsy folksman Bonnie "Prince" Billy is hitting Monster Island for two shows in one night. Catch the late show at 10:15 to make room for the prickly, reverb-soaked dance ditties of Holiday Shores at Glasslands. We would suggest Japandroids and Best Coast at Bowery Ballroom but all tickets are accounted for. No matter: Like-minded garage duo Golden Girls will perform at Pianos, but with slightly cheekier tunes (Japandroids have "Young Hearts Spark Fire," Golden Girls have "Amateur Teen Sex Antics"). The equally raucous Soft Pack (formerly the Muslims) will display their howling synths and insistent, bricklayer basslines at Mercury Lounge, while the humanthesizing Calvin Harris DJs at Santos' Party House. Finally, tranquilly, slushy rock balladeers the Walkmen take over the Bell House.
