As long as it's for a good cause Monday night boozehound dancing doesn't translate into a serious alcohol problem...so celebrate boobs and girl power at the Bell House's Keep A Breast Benefit with electropop divas. First, MNDR, a/k/a Amanda Warner (to your left), dons oversized acid freak glasses to deliver thundering techno drumbeats and screeching raps.
Then, Peaches wannabee Amanda Blank exposes her take on fuck-pop with crass raps and lewd stage antics. Or, Semi Precious Weapons hopes to get you laid at the Bowery Ballroom with their rollicking, glamour rock, spearheaded by bleach-blondie Justin Tranter, whose lyrics include, "I can't pay my rent, but I'm fucking gorgeous." Finally, Haitian eleven-piece band Boukman Eksperyans play mizik rasin (roots music) complete with chanting and Jimi Hendrix-inspired guitars at S.O.B.'s.
