Week In Review: I Feel Like My Whole Life Is Ridiculous
Well, we survived another April Fool's Day, a/k/a the worst Internet day of the year, casting aside this year's wan hoaxes and getting to the good stuff: Fucked Up, sued by an energy-drink juggernaut for bad-mouthing SXSW? Hilarious! (That was a joke, right?)

Speaking of potential hoaxes, we chat with Baltimore pranksters Teeth Mountain about their ludicrous, cat-killing appearance on Judge Judy; speaking of ludicrousness, we note the potentially extremely lame plan to resurrect our beloved New York Noise. And, in the most elaborate web shenanigan of the week, Zach tried to count the number of deaths in Fabolous' new "Body Ya" video. (Approximate count: 23.)
Live, this week we took in Bonnie "Prince" Billy at Monster Island, XXL's 2010 freshman class at Highline Ballroom (complete with rankings!), the Drive-By Truckers at Webster Hall, Pere Ubu at Le Poisson Rouge, and Spoon at Radio City. Elsewhere: American Idol's r&b week was only kind of a travesty, L Magazine did their "8 Bands You're Not Cool Enough to Have Heard Of" thing again, and the Chris Knox benefit at LPR is already raising cash and kicking scalpers' asses.
There's more stuff, of course, but let's just note that Male Bonding and the Vivian Girls covered "Perfect Day" as a way of noting that it is/was, in fact, pretty beautiful out there. Have fun, see you Monday.
