M.I.A. Just Posted New York Times Writer Lynn Hirschberg's Personal Phone Number on Twitter
"XXX.XXX.XXXX CALL ME IF YOU WANNA TALK TO ME ABOUT THE N Y T TRUTH ISSUE, ill b taking calls all day bitches ;)" reads the update (blacked out here, though it probably won't do any good) M.I.A. just threw up on her Twitter account. "N Y T", of course, refers to yesterday's bombshell of a New York Times Magazine profile written by Lynn Hirschberg. The piece, suffice to say, was not kind. Now, M.I.A. is fighting back. That number? It's Hirschberg's cell. Though probably not after today. [@_M_I_A_]
Update: The Observer's John Koblin found his way past Hirschberg's now completely full voicemail and talked to the beleaguered Times writer. "The messages have mostly been from people trying to hook up with M.I.A.," she told Koblin. "If she wants to get together with John at Bard next week, I have his number."
