Tonight! Golden Triangle, Terror Dance Pigeon Revolt!, Shakes, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, And Ariel Pink

The Terror Dance Pigeon Revolt endorses stuffed-animal abuse.
"People seem to always be makin' out and getting naked at our shows lately," says San Felipe of Golden Triangle, a group the honorable Christopher R. Weingarten praises as an "art-dance wet-dream-turned-night-terror." They'll rock you into nakedness tonight at Sound Fix Records. Meanwhile, gang-vocal spazz-pop crew the Terror Dance Pigeon Revolt! promises "sweat, blood, and ice cream" in celebration of their new album at Silent Barn. Equally feral are openers the Shakes, who moan atop pouting organs on their cover of the Buzzcocks' universal anthem "Orgasm Addict." Hopefully these oddities will distract you from the two sold-out shows you're missing: Yeasayer's flaunting of fashion no-no's alongside Sleigh Bells at Webster Hall, and Ariel Pink's chillwave ancestry at Mercury Lounge. Sweat, blood, and ice cream will have to suffice.
