Tonight! Muford & Sons, Nas, The Lovin' Spoonful, Daniel Pujol, And Wild Harem
Tonight, you have three options: a) scalp tickets to see raspy, huckleberry emoters Mumford & Sons at the Music Hall of Williamsburg or a surprisingly non-confrontational (as of late) Nas at the Highline Ballroom; b) drop by B.B. King's and catch the Lovin' Spoonful, those classic-rock/AM-pop divas who wrote "Do You Believe in Magic?"; or, more plausibly, c) stumble into Death by Audio and ingest the lo-fi fuzz emitting from bands you've probably never heard of, including ragtag rockers Daniel Pujol and swinging, blues-based no-wavers Wild Harem. Choose wisely. (Oh, and if none of that sounds appetizing, come hang out with us (and Antibalas!) at the Obies after-party.)
The Lovin' Spoonful: "Believe our fucking magic."
