Here is your slate: High Places and Toro y Moi July 2, Bear Hands and Darlings July 23, Javelin and Warpaint August 13, DJ/Rupture and Tanlines August 23. And while there is plenty of sonic variety there, and without getting all Andrew Kuo on you people, the glo-fi/chillwave/nostalgia-tinged headphone pop strain here is both mildly amusing and probably actually totally appropriate for, y'know, Christian Marclay exhibits or whatever else the Whitney deigns to roll out. If this is all a trick to lure the Hipster Runoff guy up here, let's hope it works.
