​BV's got the first available track from Castle Talk, the latest from agreeably scuzzy New Brunswick scuzz-rockers Screaming Females, one of the finest acts to grace the stage at this weekend's Siren Festival. Record's due in September, though iron-lunged singer/guitar-thrasher Marissa Paternoster's solo debut, called Holy Hell and credited to Noun, is out now -- our own Michael Hoinski chats with her about it here. Fine reading while you're absorbing a remarkably J. Mascis-ian guitar solo, no?
