Ted Leo, Great American Hero, Is Playing Brooklyn Bowl This Sunday

​Fresh off a triumphant coronation at our very own Siren Festival a few weeks back, the indefatigable Ted Leo is doing yet another free show, this very Sunday at Brooklyn Bowl, with Darlings and ArpLine, at the behest of the Jelly Pool Parties cabal, whose lousy week can only improve with this splendid news. A nod to Brooklyn Vegan for both pointing this out and reminding us of Ted and his Pharmacists' outstanding cover of Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World": Let's hope this show features either that or another cameo from Screaming Females' screamer and burgeoning SOTC obsession Marissa Paternoster.
