​Finally, the take-a-cruise-with-a-rock-band phenomenon trickles down to the Jelly Pool Party set: Mark your calendars for February 25-28, 2011, whereupon a "Bruise Cruise" sets sail from Florida to the Bahamas with the Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees, and, yes, the Vivian Girls aboard for your listening pleasure. I'm having a hell of a time making the "Vivian Girls fan" and "luxury cruise enthusiast" Venn diagrams overlap, but perhaps that's why I'm not in the industry. Less than $700 per person for an ocean view, everybody. Their drummer got out at the wrong time.
