Young Jeezy Is Still Dissing Rick Ross, Sort Of

jeezy.jpg
Rick Ross' disconcerting habit of pretending he is other still-living people continues to get him in trouble, both with those people and other people who know those people. Young Jeezy has taken issue with Ross' Black Mafia Family shout-out/misappropriation "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" -- the "I think I'm Big Meech/Larry Hoover" one -- before; now he's freestyling over it, semi-derisively.

Here we have Jeezy's "Death Before Dishonor (B.M.F. Freestyle)" (if profanity offends you, here's Funkmaster Flex wrestling with the clean version ), a not particularly pointed rebuttal with the notable exception of "How you blowin' money fast? You don't know the crew/Are you part of the fam? Shit, I never knew /Y'all was supposed to make it hard, this is easy, ho/Pull up in that triple white, I think I'm Jeezy, ho." As our own Zach Baron wrote, "From a benign perspective, Teflon Don is fan fiction, or live action role-playing; from a more sinister one, it's identity theft." From Jeezy's perspective, it's... whatever this is. "I'm-a keep it 100 New York -- I'm not sure what's happenin' here," notes the usually far less uncertain Funk Flex. Perhaps we can get 50 Cent to explain it to us.
