Because why not add to the general mayhem that will be sweeping the Lower East Side starting Tuesday of next week? We are pleased to announce the Voice will be teaming with Redeye Distribution to sponsor CMJ day party this year, featuring none other than our pal, role model, and foul-mouthed hero, Marnie Stern, local Magnetic Fields acolytes Hooray for Earth, Calibro 35, Heidi Spencer, PVT, Alessi's Ark, Darren Hanlon, and one pair of very special unannounced guests, whose names we cannot reveal yet, on pain of death. (We can vouch for the fact that they are actually special though.) Friday, October 22, Bowery Electric, 12 p.m.-6 p.m., free, no badges necessary. Set times and more info, right here:
