"Surprise performance in NYC tomorrow," La Roux's Elly Jackson tweeted yesterday. "Ill be performing a few songs in a secret location." Well, now we know where: 3 p.m., at Times Square's Renaissance Hotel. How this is going to work we have no idea, but anthemic English synth-pop and Times Square make a weird kind of sense together.
