Not going to lie: When someone sent me the LOL-filled BuzzFeed page riffing on the cover to Lil Wayne's next LP (which is now coming out in June) I figured that the image being virtually tittered at was a joke perpetuated by one of the many Internet types with a copy of Photoshop, memories of the giggling that accompanied the release of the cover of Tha Carter III, and way too much free time. But it's real; video confirmation after the jump.

So at what point in the Carter cycle does someone start aging Wayne's face prematurely? You figure he's aged about 10 or 11 years between the baby picture on the cover of Tha Carter III and this photo, which presumably shows him graduating from elementary school (too baby-cheeked to be a high school pic, no?)...
