The Beastie Boys' Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2--the now-old-enough-to-be-men's first non-instrumental record in seven years--comes out on May 3, and "Make Some Noise," a low-end-heavy track that has both a bemused-sounding callback to "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)" and a reference to Ted Danson within its lyrics, appeared online today. There's a cowbell solo, too! (Also, this might be the end result of this writer spending too much time in front of a computer over the course of her life, but the distorted vocal sampled on the chorus sounds like it could have been taken from,or at least inspired by, Apple's "Bad News" voice.) An embed of the song, which goes on sale next Tuesday, is below.
