As the winter thaws out, more summer concerts are showing up on the calendar's horizon. Today, the City Parks Foundation announced the schedule for this year's SummerStage, which takes place from June 7 to September 2 in parks all around the city, with the mainstage happening at Central Park. This year's lineup is riddled with big names--Yo-Yo Ma, Talib Kweli, Florence and the Machine, Reggie Watts--and adds up to more than 300 acts.

This summer will also showcase a few programs blending theater, dance, and music; among them are the tribute to be-bop legend Roy Ayers "Everybody Loves The Sunshine," the awesome-sounding puppet musical "Tunde's Trumpet," and a performance by the dance company Armitage Gone! Dance set to the music of Grammy-nominated jazz pianist Vijay Iyer.

The entire schedule can be found over at the SummerStage website; and SummerStage's Twitter account is also worth a follow, as it'll give away tickets to this summer's not-free shows in 140-character installments.
