Warm Up Schedule Announced: Four Tet, Juan Maclean, Solange, And More

warmup.jpg
P.S. 1 and MoMa have announced the lineup for the 2011 edition of Warm Up, the Saturdays-in-summer series that allows visitors to walk around the Long Island City museum's courtyard and listen to music and marvel at the intricate, shade-providing installations set up outdoors. This year's line-up-early highlight seems to be the show taking place on August 20, the roster for which includes the Juan Maclean and Solange, but there are plenty of other artists worth checking out from home and abroad—Tanlines, Four Tet, Black Dice, and, well, the whole roster's below, so you can see for yourself. Tickets to each show are $15 and include admission to the museum, and those people who live in Long Island City and can prove it get in for free. (Queens pride!)

Oh hell yeah! Does... Astoria count as LIC? (I mean, I know it's not LIC.) I live equidistant from PS1 and like the best Astoria pizza, so that should count for something, right?

Judging by the utility bills I've received over the years I've lived in Astoria, it very well might.
