Gang Gang Dance To Headline Mad Decent Block Party At South Street Seaport

​The crew of serial partiers known as Mad Decent has announced the lineups for its annual Mad Decent Block Parties, a sort of traveling road show of perspiration-inducing bands that hits New York City on July 30. Headlining that day's free concert, which will take place at Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport, is the New York outfit Gang Gang Dance (left), whose fifth album Eye Contact seems like an avant-gardist's Lite-FM rescue mission at times; GGD also headline a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on July 21 and DJ at P.S. 1's Warm Up series on July 23.
