You Better Work: 21 Music-Heavy Fashion's Night Out Events

Nicki Minaj performs at Yves Saint Laurent tonight.
Let's be honest: Shopping isn't really the main attraction of Fashion's Night Out. Who has time to sift through sales racks when there are so many parties to go to? Some events—Drake's DJ set at Versace, Neon Indian's invite-only gig at the Mondrian SoHo—will be trickier to get into than others, but fear not. We've scoured the internet and compiled a list of the best places to catch live music and indulge in light celeb-stalking, and they're all free.

Host: Alexander Wang
Highlights: Pre-selected shoppers will participate in a "talent show" judged by a panel of secret celeb judges and Wang himself. It should be noted that we really love this guy. Last year he credited Diplo as his musical inspiration and this year he's got the effortlessly stylish Spank Rock and Santigold representing his brand for the fall. Here's assuming that some combination o the above will be on that "celeb panel." Right on.
Details: 386 Broadway.

Host: Kiehl's
Highlights: The skin-care line is throwing a Karaoke Karnival (their spelling, not mine) with a special performance by Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean that promises "special guests." Maybe Howie is in town?
Details: 107 3rd Avenue.

Host: DASH
Highlights: Apparently Jersey Shore cast member Pauly D's wedding gift to Kim Kardashian includes a FNO DJ set at the store she co-owns with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe. If you watched any of the New York-set shows about the sisters, you'll know that Kanye drops by the store relatively frequently. And who knows who Pauly might bring along with him. That's some motivation, right?
Details: 119 Spring Street, 6 p.m.

Host: Bloomingdale's
Highlights: There's a bit of it all here tonight. GQ and Dockers team up for an amusing three-way collaboration with Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino. Elsewhere in the store, lo-fi dream rockers Beach Fossils perform. And if you want to get one last taste of summer, head to Fred Perry's post, where you'll find skee ball, beers, and music provided by DJ Oliver Stark. Winner gets two free tickets to the concert of their choice at Brooklyn Bowl.
Details: Bloomingdale's, 1000 Third Avenue

Host: Juicy Couture
Highlights: In one of the weirder FNO collaborations, New Wavey Canadians Metric will be doing a live set at the store. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails too!
Details: 368 Bleecker Street, 6 p.m.

Host: Saks Fifth Avenue
Highlights: Party god Andrew W.K. brings his club Santos Party House to Saks in full. This means disco balls, party favors, and rally cries. Live performances include Ne-Yo, who will be singing in celebration of his new hat line, while on another floor Questlove spins jams while the cocktails flow.
Details: 611 Fifth Avenue, 6 p.m.

Host: Barneys
Highlights: Here we have a karaoke contest judged by the Olsen twins. If karaoke isn't your thing, you're welcome to try your hand in ping-pong or musical chairs. Yes, musical chairs.
Details: 660 Madison Avenue, 6 p.m.

Host: Theory
Highlights: Theory brings the outer boroughs to the Meatpacking district with live performances by dancey duo Tanlines, the glorious MNDR, and rockers Freelance Whales. If nothing else, we can't wait to see what MNDR will be wearing.
Details: 38 Gansevoort Street, 6 p.m.

Host: Caravan Stylist Studio
Highlights: Rye Rye, the sassy rapper from Baltimore and M.I.A.'s self-proclaimed protegee, performs live in the Sky Room's penthouse. This girl has more swag rocking her boldly printed leggings and hand-painted high-tops than all of Williamsburg combined. Fashionistas take note.
Details: Sky Room, 330 West 40th Street, 8 p.m.

Host: Macy's
Highlights: Kelly Rowland and Joss Stone perform live while Bobbi Brown, Rachel Roy, Miss J, and Tommy Hilfiger head up their own mini-parties in various departments. Somewhere in the mix Diddy will be posted up at a pool table, taking on challenges from shoppers. Diddy!
Details: 424 Fifth Avenue
