As you have presumably by now heard, New York Night Train host and DJ Jonathan Toubin was injured last week when a car crashed into his Portland hotel room. On Friday, Brooklyn Bowl will host a benefit concert for Toubin with performanes by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jon Spencer's Heavy Trash, Tunde Adibempe's Stabbing Eastwood, Royal Baths, and Reverend Vince Anderson. DJs will include Gibby Haynes of Butthole Surfers, Billy Miller of Norton Records, and Bear in Heaven. The show starts at 10:30, and tickets are on sale now. They're selling for a minimum of $25—though if you so choose, you can donate up to $100, every penny of which will go to the hospitalized DJ.

It's also worth noting that on Saturday, Glasslands Gallery will be hosting its own benefit, starting at 8:30 and featuring Xray Eyeballs, The Stalkers, K-Holes, and an acoustic Frankie and the Outs set. Full release about Friday's show below.

ALL-STAR LINEUP TO PERFORM IN JONATHAN TOUBIN BENEFIT CONCERT THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, AT BROOKLYN BOWL

Including Performances by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Heavy Trash (Jon Spencer),
Stabbing Eastwood (Tunde Adibempe & Ryan Sawyer) Royal Baths, Reverend Vince Anderson

DJ Sets by Gibby Haynes, Bear In Heaven, Billy Miller and Leo Fitzpatrick

An impressive and varied lineup of rock n' roll luminaries has signed on to support their friend
and fellow musician, Jonathan Toubin, by performing at a benefit for him this Friday, 11:30 P.M. at Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Ave). The DJ and proprietor of New York Night Train, was struck by a vehicle in his Portland, Oregon, hotel room on Thursday, December 8, and remains in critical condition in ICU.

Admission to the show is a suggested contribution of $25--$100 and can be purchased here.

The Brooklyn Bowl benefit concert comes amid a remarkable, international display of love and concern for Toubin. Like that outpouring, the lineup of Friday's event is evidence of the breadth of the community that Toubin, the country's most popular soul DJ (he plays rare garage rock and soul, exclusively on 45 rpm records) has built throughout his tireless and consistently imaginative career. He has befriended and championed countless characters of all kinds.

The evening will feature live performances by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Heavy Trash (Jon Spencer), Stabbing Eastwood (TV On The Radio's Tunde Adibempe's duo with drummer Ryan Sawyer, a friend of Toubin's from Texas, where he grew up), San Francisco garage rockers Royal Baths and the gospel-soul giant Reverend Vince Anderson. Numerous artists will DJ as well: the Butthole Surfer's Gibby Haynes, Norton Records' Billy Miller, actor Leo Fitzpatrick and Brooklyn rockers Bear In Heaven to name a few.

100% of the show's proceeds go to Jonathan Toubin. Commemorative t-shirts will be sold and given away with $100 donations; 100% of those proceeds also go to Toubin.
