Win A Pair Of Tickets To See Daughn Gibson, Lightouts, And Todd Goldstein On Friday Night

One of the more intriguing debuts I've heard this year is All Hell, the first album by the Pennsylvania singer-songwriter Daughn Gibson. It redefines the term "American Gothic," fusing together the vague suggestion of AM-radio static, sample-based melancholia, and his arresting, deep voice; the resulting music sounds tailor-made for those sort of dark nights that are only illuminated by light beaming out of windows across the street. Sound of the City is giving away a pair of tickets to his show at Union Hall this Friday night, where he'll play with Lightouts and Todd Goldstein (of ARMS and Harlem Shakes). Listen to a couple of tracks from All Hell and find out how to enter below.

Daughn Gibson, "Lookin' Back On 99"

Daughn Gibson, "Tiffany Lou"
