Dead Stars Wrote the Perfect "Anti-Summer" Song Just in Time for Summer

Dead Stars are going to share a bill with their heroes this summer. "We've been big fans of Dinosaur Jr. for most of our lives, so we're psyched to be on the same bill as those guys," says singer/guitarist Jeff Moore of the upcoming line-up for our 4Knots Music Festival. In Dead Stars' music, the influence of a band like Dinosaur Jr. is apparent in their lively fuzz.

The latest addition to the Brooklyn band's canon is the breezy "Summer Bummer," a fairly happy tune with some "anti-summer" lyrics, as Moore says. Check out the new tune from Dead Stars after the jump.
