Let's just take one more moment to wonder here at a mountainside festival in Monterrey, Mexico, with a ticket that will run you a cool $30 for three days, 75 bands, a bunch of visual artists, and a shuttle running from SXSW in Austin across the border three times a day. That's about as real as it gets. And now Todd P has announced what is more or less the full lineup for the thing: highlights include High Places, Dan Deacon (both of which are skipping SXSW to be exclusive at MtyMx), Acid Mothers Temple, Andrew W.K., Male Bonding, Grant Hart, No Age, Das Racist, Fucked Up, Salem, Talk Normal, Lucky Dragons, and a host of others, one third of which will be native to Mexico. Even more clever is the fact that though MtyMx will sport two stages, band's sets will not overlap, so you could conceivably--if you were totally insane, that is--see all 75 bands playing.
