Last year’s Great Vengeance and Furious Fire seemed to see nothing incongruous in mashing up Mick Jagger, Cee-Lo, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, a point of view maybe born out by the success of Gnarls Barkley. This tour is at least partially under the rubric of Playboy’s “Rock the Rabbit” project, whatever that is—tonight’s their night off, and they’re celebrating with a band called the Gay Blades.
