Tonight: Tegan & Sara at Terminal 5

So you're one of those people who get all up in arms when Canadian emo-pop twins Tegan and Sara get tagged as "tampon rock." Or maybe you think there's nothing deeper to rock out to while you're styling your hair. Either way you'll no doubt be breathless at hearing the duo's moody, studio-rounded riffs and anxious-for-angst tones both up close and way too personal. Also: An Horse. — PETE L'OFFICIAL

Terminal 5, 610 W 56th St., New York, NY 10019. SOLD OUT.

We only caught the last 2 songs from AN HORSE and they were pretty good, I personally thought Northern State were a better opening act for T@S. X

I'm crushed.

I'm not into their music (damn near puts me to sleep, actually) but I recently found out about these two little twin hotties and now I just found out they're gay?!?

What a waste of two perfectly beautiful women - not the hairy man-beast bull dykes that make perfect sense for their gayness - who should be dating boys and enjoying their hetero sexuality.

What is this world coming to when even the lesbians are lookign better and better. I can understand man-beasts being gay, they have no other choice, but when they're as cute as both of these twin bombshells, it makes no sense and I have a feeling it's all bullshit to fit better into the self-hating, white guilt-ridden, anti-America/American uber-liberal gutter excrement, a la Melissa Ethridge/Ellen DeGeneres who started out as hetero's and then suddenly became lesbian overnight, when it was the hip, liberal thing to do, claiming they've been that way forever, eventhough several males who've had sex with them claim otherwise. Of course, this was back when no one knew who they were, so they thought they could get away with the lie of being gay, but as is always the case with the uber-liberal history revisionists, their lies always come back to haunt them.

Pathetic. Sad. But so very, VERY true...

With you thirteenburn, as their alternative, lucky for them they are gay

Taryn says:

thirteenburn, Your name must fit You well. You are probably a 13 year old little boy who is so pathetic, sad, and insecure with himself and that he can't get a girl, and is upset that there are girls who like girls. So he insults some girls by calling them manbeasts because he knows a smart attractive girl would never want him. Tegan and Sara Quin coming out as teenagers in the wake of a tragedy such as Matthew Shephard further shows how ridiculous and sick you are, mr thirteen. Like Ruth said, lucky for them they are gay, they surely are not missing much at if you are speaking for the "straight male side".
