Maura Lanahan

Autolux, the Los Angeles art-fuzz trio that blogs forgot, has been annoyingly dormant for the last few years: after releasing the sublime full-length Future Perfect, and touring throughout 2006, they virtually disappeared. Last fall, they booked for All Tomorrow's Parties New York, but canceled at the last minute because guitarist Greg Edwards became a father. Legitimate reason, of course, but they've also been promising FP follow-up for what seems like forever--get off the babymaking and get on some record releasing, will ya?

But now we're told that Autolux really will be back, that they're once again scheduled to hit ATP NY this fall, and then headline the Bowery Ballroom and the Music Hall of Williamsburg a few days later. There's still no release date for Transit Transit, but the band promises they'll preview it live. Full tour dates below; in the meantime, hopefully no one gets pregnant.
