Alice Cooper Assesses Halloween Candy

Last Halloween Alice Cooper was guest editor of this blog. We've just now gotten the blood out of the carpet. The smell of sulfur still remains. And though he left the place a wreck, afterward we went trick-or-treating with him through the Lower East Side. He murdered the first person unlucky enough to give him Candy Corn. This year, to avoid a similar mishap, we asked what Halloween candy won't send Cooper into a blind rage.

Meet the New Boss (Not at all like the old boss)

Tomorrow is Halloween, and we're taking the day off, handing over the keys to a frightening someone whose name evokes an appropriate level of ghoulish camp: Alice Cooper.

Throughout the day Alice will be posting about his favorite scary bands, scary movies, and scary golf courses movie scores. He'll be paying our writers in blood and hopefully won't leave a permanent unholy stench in our office. We'll have other non-Alice related bits too, so stop on by ... if you dare BWHAHAHAHAHAHA.

From our flat-mate Runnin' Scared:

Designer John Varvatos gave Voice writer Lynn Yaeger the brush-off despite repeated attempts for comment and then officially announces that he's opening a boutique in the storefront that once housed CBGB on the same day her article "All Sold Out at CBGB" hit newstands. That's so punk.
