It's Courtney Love's Big Week--and Frenemy Billy Corgan Is Having Fun Trying to Ruin It

It's a big week for Courtney Love. Tomorrow is the major-label release of her five-years-in-the-making Nobody's Daughter. There're two Hole headlining shows at this week at Terminal 5, one late-night rendevous at Union Square Best Buy tonight. There's a couch/performance slot scheduled for tomorrow on The Late Show With David Letterman and Wednesday brings a likely bonkers guest stint on The View. The primary objective of these engagements is not only to move units, but also for Love to attempt to show she's cleaned up her life since her abominable solo failure America's Sweetheart, when she flashed Letterman on-air and later ended up in rehab. So there's a lot at stake here. As she recently told the Times, "I bet the farm on this record, which is dangerous, but great in a way, because when you do that, you have nowhere else to go. There is no Plan B."
