Well this is sure shaping up nicely: Our annual Brooklyn Pour Craft Beer Festival, wherein 100 (!) breweries offer beer thirsty patrons an unlimited taste of their product, has just added some megawatt DJ talent. Marissa Paternoster of the bands Noun and Screaming Females (who we gushed about in our pages back in February) will take to the 1s and 2s. Joining her will be Joe Steinhardt, cofounder of Don Giovanni Records and guitarist for Modern Hut. It all goes down October 12th from 3 to 6 p.m., and your $50 general admission ticket nets you unlimited tastes of beer plus a souvenir glass and a variety of onsite entertainment. The (nearly sold out) VIP tickets are $80. Some of the proceeds from the event benefit BRIC, a nonprofit arts and media organization based in Brooklyn. You can buy your tickets to Brooklyn Pour here. And you should. We've just added 13 breweries, and you can read all the ins and outs of this beautiful hoppy, sudsy bacchanal over on our food blog Fork in the Road. Run don't walk!
