​Best part of the New York Times obit was the kicker: "Mr. Magic was often described as arrogant, although his on-the-air manner was smooth and warm," wrote Douglas Martin, who really seemed to get it: "When he met Magic Johnson, the basketball great, he said, 'The world is not big enough for two Magics.'"
