We've tried to warn people about George W. Bush by referring to The Emperor's New Clothes. (See this Bush Beat item.)

That was a fable. And here's the label.

This image reached me from a colleague who got it from someone in New York City who got it from someone in Edinburgh. My bosses won't send me to Scotland to explore the origins further. (Actually, they may offer me a one-way ticket.)
