Capitol Hill on Steroids: Round 1

Clemens says he's guilty of being too nice.

Now that you've heard Roger Clemens's Jack Armstrong-style statement before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, go back and take a look at Chairman Henry Waxman's opening statement.

Clemens was brief and to the point, kind of. He sounded like Rafael Palmeiro, so we'll see what happens.

But there's at least one thing that Clemens said that was a lie. He told the committee:

If I'm guilty of anything … it's of being too nice to everyone.
