A Blow to Spitzer, a Blow to Hillary

Breaking news that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is enmeshed in a prostitution ring is not the best news for fellow New Yorker Hillary Clinton. Spitzer was scheduled to stump for Hillary in Ohio, according to a New York magazine story last month. Don't wait by the phone, Spitzer, for any more requests, like in Pennsylvania. If the New York Times report is accurate--early word is that Spitzer supposedly told a top aide about the governor's prostitution link--his endorsement will not exactly be sought.
