Check out this map from Wal-Mart Watch, showing the Arkansas chain's infestation.

The late Edward Abbey, referring to the unbridled urbanization of the Sonoran Desert and other fragile landscapes in the American West (Phoenix's main industry is, simply, growth), once noted:

"Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell."

I wouldn't shop anywhere else. That's the beauty of America, if you are a Walmart Hater" you don't have to shop there. You don't have to work there either if you choose not to. Quit whining!
