Strike's Over: What About My MetroCard?

For those of you who are fretting the four days the transit strike ate into your unlimited-ride MetroCard, good news: Transit officials are urging customers to continue using the seven- and 30-day passes.

Details:

  • 7-day MetroCard passes will be extended for three additional days, and users will continue to receive the Holiday Bonus extra day.

  • 30-day MetroCard passes will be extended for three additional days, and users will continue to receive the Holiday Bonus four days.

  • 40-day Holiday Bonus MetroCards will be extended for three additional days

    • In addition, the Holiday half-fare program will be in effect this weekend and next week through January 2nd.
