You're Walking, They're Talking

New York, you're still afoot.

With the Transport Workers Union and the MTA back at the negotiating table, the city's 7 million subway and bus riders can look foward to having a ride to work. Just not right away.

Reports Newsday:

It was not immediately clear when the trains and buses would start rolling again. A transit official said it would take at least 12 hours to get the system restarted. Officials said service should be normal by the morning rush.

"We are on our way back, but we will not have full service immediately," said NYC Transit President Lawrence Reuter.
