Cop Site: Where Is Sharpton Now?

Take a peek today at NYPD Rant, a self-billed gathering ground for law enforcement/military types with an ax—or several axes—to grind. One of its December 8 posts, "Savages Brawl in Union Square," crystallizes the complaint, at least from one sector of the Finest, with African American leaders like Al Sharpton and Charles Barron.

Since the police killing of Sean Bell, 23, black, and unarmed, Sharpton and other black leaders have kept the heat on City Hall and NYPD commish Ray Kelly. But after the stabbing murder of a 17-year-old kid in Union Square on Wednesday, sneers poster BxMarine, is Sharpton marching? Hardly, he says:

"YESSSSSSSS!!! I was SOOOOO overjoyed when I read this!! Savages going at it right smack in the middle of the most anti-cop, anti-military, anti-American and the most liberal part of the city!! Liberal scum buying their veggie burgers and tofu and on their way to Starbucks ran for cover from the savagery. I went to the fridge, grabbed a cold one, and celebrated! Funny how Sharpton, Barron, Amazed, and Butts aren't there mourning the 'loss' of another young black male. You reap what you sow, you liberal douchbags!!"

the nypd does a great job for this city, they protect everyone, some of these politicains need to look at whats going on in this city, and maybe a few of these politicians can say, hey, wait a minute maybe we should teach our children not to commit crime and go to school. its not the nyp fault for the lack or education these wild kids have, the parents are more to blame, but when you have non interested parents you will always have bad kids. why is a 10 year old kid out at midnight? why are the parents crack heads why are the parenting not diciplining their children? why do these politicians blame every one else but not themselves? these are the questions that need to be answered.
Those idiots on the rant are not officers they are savages!

I come from a city in South America which is overtaken by crime making life impossible to live. I wish we had the NYPD guarding my streets. New Yorkers don't appreciate what they have. Men and women of the NYPD, keep up the good job!
Ms. Conaway, When was the last time you have had bricks thrown at your head from a rooftop of a building you are walking into to answer a call for help? When you're not too busy bicycle protesting you should try it out...

Love these articles from a 'newspaper' that promotes prostitution, drugs, gambling, and alcoholism. Very important 'rag' that keeps those who can't understand the difference between fact and fiction. Hey! Just go to a concert and smoke weed! You don't have to get up in the morning and go to a real job! Maybe get a latte from starBUCKS and ponder why a civil servant takes an action to keep the rest of us safe. No wonder why they don't charge for this. Yea tha's right were are they screaming justice for the dead. injured and tenet business's that were disrupted? my guess is there's no money to scamand extort from this so they don't step up to the plate.
So where is Sharpton? It's okay for blacks to kill each other but it's not okay when it's someone from outside the community? Cover story on this weeks "Wave" - a 16 year year old BCHS student, caught in the crossfire of warring factions from the Edgemere Houses and killed by a 15 year old. Hmmmmm not a single press conference or march by Sharpton et al.
Yes, despite the hypocrisy of the so-called "Black Leaders" of the Black community, who do little FOR their own community, but do MUCH to line their own pockets with money from their threats of violence (Barron) or economic shutdowns (Jackson), we, the police, ARE, IN FACT the people "who are keeping you safe." We are also the people who attempt to comfort a black mother in a hospital whose son was shot or stabbed by one of his own kind in his own neighborhood when the above rabblerousers are nowhere to be found. We are also the same people who will go down into the allyways and back yards of the tenements to attempt to apprehend the person who fired the shot or wielded the knife who put this woman's son in the hospital. We are also the same people who will climb the Brooklyn Bridge two or three times a week to get some poor unfortunate black person off the Brooklyn tower when he failed to take his much needed medication. We are the people who arrive before the Fire Department in the middle of the night, climbing fire escapes and banging on doors when one of their own kind decides to burn down the tenement his girlfriend lives in, carrying children and helping the crippled to safety, a fire that Charles Barron doesn't care about. When an elderly black woman is coming home from church is mugged on an early Sunday morning by one of her own kind, we are the people who stick their hands in their own pockets to take up a collection for this woman who we will call 'mom' so she can get though until the end of the week, while Jesse Jackson is flying first-class across the country shaking down corporate America. Yes, the black community is fortunate to have such a cadre of people serving them and "keeping ny safe." But, as you read in the Rant posts, we are beginning to have a low tolerance of abuse from the people who NEED are services more than others, which I think my mom called, "bitting the hand that feeds you."

Sharpton fiddles while the the black community burns. Only the lives of CERTAIN young black men are worth somethng to Sharpton.
Newark which is an overwhelmingly black city, just reached 100 murders. In proportion, that would be like NYC having 3,000 murders. Where is Sharpton, Barron, Jesse and all the other clowns in regards to this travesty???
