Escalators at the Roosevelt Island F Train Stop: A Complete Guide
Roosevelt Island 360 does public service in spades. Not content to announce that, starting August 25, the "down" escalators at the Roosevelt Island subway station will be temporarily switched to "up" escalators, it goes the MTA one better by coherently explaining the situation. With illustrations!
"The curent 'up' escalators, ES 413 and 416, are being closed so that the adjacent escalators, ES 412 and 415, currently under construction can be completed," reports Roosevelt Island 360.
The rerouted escalators are ES 411 and 414. If that means nothing to you, Roosevelt Island 360 helpfully includes a photo-chart. Other "transportation advisories" can be found on the sidebar. Someone offer this man an advisory position in a public agency!
