Confession in Pace Student Killing

pravia.jpgLast weekend Pace University sophomore Kevin Pravia was found strangled with an electrical cord in his Chelsea apartment. Now cops in Queens have an unexpected confession from a 22-year-old they had been questioning about something else. According to the New York Daily News, the suspect says he encountered Pravia early Sunday morning in Union Square where Pravia allegedly asked him for drugs. The suspect says he complied, and accompanied Pravia to his apartment; when Pravia fell asleep, he says he punched, strangled, smothered, and stuffed a plastic bag down the throat of the sleeping student. The man was transferred to and is being held at the 10th Precinct in Chelsea.
