Mr. Blackwell, the fashion critic famous for his acerbic annual Worst-Dressed Lists (he called Madonna "The Bare-Bottomed Bore of Babylon"), has died at age 86. Blackwell, felled by an intestinal infection, was wearing at the time a highly unflattering hospital gown.
