Miss America to Host Rescue Mission Thanksgiving

Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund will serve as honorary host of the New York City Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Banquet, says the Associated Press. She will be assisted in her duties by Kathie Lee Gifford and NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly. A native of Michigan, Haglund struggled with anorexia when younger and now promotes eating disorder awareness. She says her favorite food is dark chocolate, and she "can't live without" Vitamin B. We couldn't find any pictures of her where she wasn't dressed like this; must be this damned blocking software.
